My girls happen to love origami. They love folding paper into all different shapes - who doesn't like beautiful paper in gorgeous designs. One of our first Sunday's in Australia, we happened to sit in front of twin boys who are origami MASTERS. During the entire sacrament meeting, they were folding paper and sending their impressive designs up to my girls. The girls were blown away by the talented origami boys and wanted to learn more about this art form.
So when a friend let me know that a Japanese artist was coming to Sydney and running a origami work session at a local gallery, I jumped at the chance for the girls to attend the workshop. We took the train to the city, attended the workshop and they improved their origami skills. The gallery is a small round gallery and the artist had it decorated to inspire the children to wish and shoot for their dreams. It was beautiful! They were able to have one on one interaction with origami masters, dressed in kimonos, who taught them some pretty cool looking designs.
Here they are working away!

So Cool! I love it how you guys are taking advantage of all that your new home has to offer. I'm so proud of all of you. I check the blog daily hoping for some other tit bit even though I know you are only posting once a week. Everyone looks happy and healthy. Girls, Tucker would love to learn your new origami talents, so keep practicing so you can show him!
