OCTOBER 2015

This last month has been kind of a blur....it was filled with activity and very hard for me to remember where I have been.  I traveled to the USA to visit my family and I made stops in Virginia (10 days), North Carolina (24 hours), Texas (4 days) and California (10 hours).  It was a whirlwind trip and I slept in many different beds but, it was SO WORTH IT.  I was able to help out those people that I adore so much and just reconnect.  Tom felt I was completely crazy to travel so far and play dot-dot on the North-American Continent but I needed to see my people.

I came home completely exhausted however, Halloween was right around the corner.  Since living in Australia, I have always had a spooky dinner for my girls because Trick-or-Treating is not HUGE here.  With just a few short days until Halloween, in my jet-legged state, I needed to source some pumpkins, buy my treats and figure out the costume situation.  I was not completely ready for the 31st but, I was making it work.  This year two of the girls were invited to Halloween parties so we did a quick Trunk-or-Treat at the church and then they headed off to spook it up with their friends.

OUR FAVORITE PART OF HALLOWEEN - PUMPKIN TIME!

Claire and I were able to see Sculpture by the Sea again this year.  Artworks are spread across the cliffs from Bronte Beach to Bondi Beach via Tamarama Beach. This year's artsy coastal walk was filled with laughter and insight from some of my favorite people I have met while living here.  It was a gorgeous day - Thanks ladies!

MY FAVORITE - MIRRORS ANGLED TO REFLECT WHAT THEY SAW!
THE WONDERFUL GROUP - MISSING FROM THE PHOTO MISS RACHEL (PHOTOGRAPHER)
In addition to Halloween, we decided that we needed to bike Centennial Park.  It is a HUGE park in downtown Sydney complete with cricket fields, equestrian fields, a enormous bike path and beautiful ponds.  We had a lovely morning as we rode our push-bikes (bicycles) around the park.
